Polamalu apologizes to DavisTalked to Vernon Davis today about the hit that put him out of action a couple of weeks. Davis thought Steelers safety Troy Polamalu’s shot that left him with a sprained medial collateral ligament was a bit of a cheap shot. But he said he’s not angry with Polamalu, who called him a couple of days after the game to apologize.
“I don’t know how he got my number, but the guy called me and apologized for hitting me that low,” Davis said.
What was his reaction: “It’s cool. That’s alright. That’s what happens. It’s part of football.”
