Keeper LeaguesKeeper Leagues allow managers to retain their best players and rising stars for the following season. This introduces a fun new level of strategy to the game as managers must consider players beyond their current season value.
Keepers are managed by the league Commissioner using the Edit Draft Order & Assign Keeper Players tool within Commissioner Tools. To assign Keepers to a draft the Commissioner must first choose the Custom Order and Keeper League Players option from the Draft Pick Order menu. Here a Commissioner can adjust the draft order
and choose a snaking or non-snaking draft. The final step is to adjust the draft order round by round if desired and assign keeper players.
Based on your league's custom Keeper rules the league Commissioner can choose to display a player's Keeper status icon wherever players appear in the game. To do this, Commissioners can select the Keeper Player Status option under Commissioner Tools. The options are to display Keeper status all season until a player is:
Traded,
Dropped and claimed off waivers, or
Dropped and clears waivers (becomes a free agent)
or to never show Keeper status.
