At this point I doubt we'd be pursuing Simeon as an alternative. He was a great player and I really respect what he did for Tampa. I thought he was the missing link that put them over the top during their Super Bowl year.

per Boldin hanno fatto un tentativo durante il draft, ma non è andato come speravano......non so se c'è ancora qualche possibilità di prenderlo
mentre su edwards c'era NY, ma dopo che hanno draffato 2 WR nei primi gira penso che l'interesse si sia affievolito

certo uno di questi due completerebbe il reparto dei wr e aggiungerebbe tanta qualità, ma senza prime scelte da mettere sul piatto la vedo dura

Prendere uno dei due sarebbe fantastico, ma la vedo alquanto dura visto ce abbiamo ben poco da mettere sul piatto. E' più facile prendere un FA come Burress a noie legali superate.

Intanto abbiamo messo sotto contratto il TE  Michael Gaines.

Tinoisamoa to meet with Bears today

Strong-side linebacker figures to be one of the few positions where the Bears will have a true battle in training camp for a starting job, but that could change if Pisa Tinoisamoa reunites with Lovie Smith and Bob Babich.

Lovie Smith, who spent three seasons directing a Rams defense that finished third in total defense in 2001 and led the league in takeaways in 2003, has decided to take over the Bears' defense after watching the unit drop to 21st in total defense last season. Although last year's defensive coordinator, Bob Babich, will stay on as defensive coordinator/linebackers coach, Smith will be making all of the defensive play-calling on game day and embracing the challenge of becoming a rare head coach/defensive play-caller.
