LaFell?
Se devo essere sincero la scelta di LaFell mi ha lasciato l'amaro in bocca. Ci siamo visti sfuggire Mike Williams all'ultimo momento e devo dire che la delusione è stata tanta. Abbiamo vacillato molto, abbiamo pensato anche a una trade down ma alla fine abbiamo deciso di credere nel talento di Brandon. Nonostante la scarsa concorrenza che troverà per lo spot di secondo WR nei Panthers non crediamo che avrà un ruolo da partente fin da subito data la proverbiale mentalità conservatrice che John Fox ancora ha riguardo i rookies

McCoy?
Sicuramente, a quel punto del draft, Gerald era la migliore soluzione per svecchiare il reparto DL. Siamo davvero contenti della scelta, McCoy è un giocatore fisicamente dominante e dal talento puro, ha la possibilità di giocare DT o DE in base al tipo di difesa. Crediamo veramente che questo giocatore avrà l'opportunità di dominare fin da subito la difesa dei Bucs

e infine Burnett
Si andati Nate Allen e TJ Ward abbiamo puntato gli occhi su di lui. Ci serviva un DB e lui era l'uomo giusto, abbiamo cercato per tutto il 4° round e per parte del 5° di fare trade up senza successo, ormai non ci credevamo più ma alla fine siamo riusciti a strappare un accordo allo zio. Anche di questo giocatore sono veramente soddisfatto, ha la possibilità di giocarsela per il posto di titolare con Bigby e sono fiducioso che riuscirà a spuntarla. Daltronde il suo valore è indiscutibile, adirittura nell'AFC è stato scelto al 3° round

Tutti e quattro pronti per la firma?
Sicuramente si. Assicuriamo i nostri sostenitori che altri quattro martiri sono pronti per la Jihad. Anche se non saranno tutti attivati fin da subito abbiamo la speranza di poterli avere tutti e quattro pronti in squadra alla fine della stagione. per questo preghiamo allah.

"LA VERONA RAZZISTA E NAZI-FASCISTA SI ARRENDE ALL'ARMATA JIHADISTA"

Il dato è ormai ufficiale: i 'kamikazen Friuli battono 109,7 a 104,3 i Verona Great Dogs. Determinanti le prestazioni di Visanthe Shiancoe (13,6), Tim Hightower (11,6), il reparto LB (26) e infine di Drew Brees (16,3) che nonostante una partita non proprio esaltante visti i suoi canoni ha certamente regalato punti determinanti per la vittoria finale contro gli odiati scaligeri.
Dall'altra parte sicuramente hanno influito molto negativamente Kolb (- 0,7), Frank Gore (8,3) che non ha brillato contro i hawks e Dwayne Bowe (1,3) mai in partita.
Questa la cronaca dello scontro del triveneto andato in scena tra giovedì e lunedì scorso al Bentegodi. Ma ora passiamo all'intervista al direttore generale dei 'kamikazen 49er, che abbiamo raggiunto al Caesar Palace di Las Vegas

Allora signor 49er soddisfatto della vittoria?
Certamente siamo molto soddisfatti per aver battuto un rivale storico della nostra franchigia e ancor di più per aver dimostrato ancora una volta che Verona sta un gradino sotto di noi sotto sul piano sportivo e culturale. Detto questo la vittoria di lunedì ha anche evidenziato qualche ombra.

Ossia?
Beh mi riferisco alle prestazioni di alcuni giocatori schierati nella line-up. In particolare Roy e DeAngelo Williams non hanno certo brillato. Soprattutto dal secondo ci aspettiamo di più, ma la partita contro i Giants è stata sicuramente difficile e la prestazione opaca di DeAngelo riflette un po quella dei Panthers. Insomma un po la situazione che Vittorio ha trovato con Gore e i niners, tutto sommato non ci lamentiamo.

Infatti se è vero che ci sono state prestazioni un po scadenti (noi ci aggiungiamo anche quella di Kaeding) ci sono stati dall'altro lato anche buoni numeri da alcuni giocatori.
Si ovviamente, ma dal nostro punto di vista stiamo molto più attenti agli aspetti negativi piuttosto che a quelli positivi della franchigia e questo perchè vogliamo ogni giorno migliorarci il più possibile. Detto questo sicuramente tra giovedì e lunedì ci sono state anche sorprese positive. Shiancoe e Posluszny su tutti ma anche Hightower nonostante i due fumble. Siamo fiduciosi soprattutto per Visanthe che pare essere l'unico "bersaglio" che piace a Favre in questo inizio di stagione. Certo molto probabilmente questo fatto vorrà dire più attenzione delle difese avversarie nei riguardi del nostro TE ma speriamo che voglia anche dire qualche numero in più sopratutto in end zone. Il Poz invece ha dimostrato che nonostante gli infortuni rimane uno dei migliori LB della lega, speriamo continui così e che stia lontano proprio dagli infortuni che negli anni passati l'hanno un po limitato. La speranza è proprio questa che rimanga sano, perchè da sano può essere devastante.

Ha accennato che siete alla ricerca di un miglioramento costante. Ciò vuol dire che, nel breve termine, avete in mente qualche mossa nel mercato FA?
Non credo. Non lo credo perchè 1- non è nelle nostre priorità e 2- non abbiamo grandi disponibilità economiche. Questo in un primo momento può sembrare un aspetto molto negativo ma a mio parere lo è solo in parte. L'esperienza mi dice che il mercato FA si fa in off-season, certo alcuni giocatori interessanti si possono scovare anche durante la stagione (l'anno scorso siamo riusciti a prendere Sidney Rice, determinante per la corsa ai PO) ma allo stesso tempo si rischia di spendere molti soldi per giocatori tutto sommato mediocri e dall'impatto fantasy tutto da verificare sul lungo termine, ho ancora in mente gli 11 milioni spesi, anzi buttati, per prendere Chris Perry. Oggi le cose sono un po cambiate fortunatamente.
In ogni caso se devo parlare di movimenti di mercato faccio riferimento soltanto ai nostri giocatori in PS. A tal proposito mi hanno impressionato favorevolmente le prestazioni di Connor (17 punti!!!) e Raji. Un pensierino sulla loro attivazione io e il gm torrisone lo stiamo facendo seriamente, per il momento aspettiamo, vogliamo vedere se riescono ad avere una certa continuità di risultati

Un ultimo commento, cosa vuole dire ai tifosi?
Voglio dire di essere fiduciosi per questa squadra, già domenica abbiamo un importante partita contro i Gamblers abbiamo bisogno del loro sostegno. Detto questo morte a Verona, morte a Trieste, morte a Israele, viva la Jihad, bandiera rossa trionferà!!!!

"I 'KAMIKAZEN VINCONO LA 'PARTITA DELL'AMICIZIA' E VANNO 2-0"

Il dato non è ancora confermato ma il margine pare rassicurante per eventuali ritocchi di punteggio. In ogni caso a come stanno le cose ora i Drunkamikazen battono i Gamblers 128,1 a 112,7. Una partita sofferta nonostante la differenza di 16 punti fra le due squadre. Una partita ricca di errori di valutazione da entrambe le parti nella definizione del line-up. Insomma un match un po controverso ma sicuramente segnato dall'amicizia fra le due dirigenze e fra le due tifoserie.
Brees (23,4), Hightower (18,4), Moreno (17,8), Reed (13) e Willis (12,5) i top scorer.
Anche questa settimana abbiamo raggiunto (telefonicamente) il direttore generale dei 'kamikazen 49er stanziato in un campo di addestramento in Giordania.

"ha sbagliato la formazione" è facilissimo dirlo col senno di poi, ma nel momento in cui si va a settare un line-up si sa benissimo che si rischia di lasciare punti magari determinanti in panca e questo il caso di Gommaflex e anche il nostro. Certo mi ha un po sorpreso la scelta di puntare su Palmer invece che su Ryan. I ravens tradizionalmente sono una difesa difficile e comunque sono di un altro pianeta rispetta a quella dei Cards. Boh una mossa che non capisco, bisognerebbe chiedere lumi a lui. Noi dal canto nostro abbiamo lasciato in panca Donald Brown (16 punti) e soprattutto Hester. Quest'ultimo era in ballottagio fino all'ultimo con Roy Williams e purtroppo abbiamo dato troppa fiducia all'attacco dei vaccari e troppo poca a quella dei bears. Ecco il vero errore è stato non schierare Hester, sinceramente una prestazione del genere da parte di Brown non me l'aspettavo, in ogni caso mi fa piacere.

Prima di ieri il punteggio si era fermato a 112,7 dei gamblers contro solo i 76 punti dei kamikazen. Insomma determinante è stato il Monday Night.
Certamente il Monday Night ci ha salvato e reso possibile la rimonta di cui speravamo alla vigilia. 52 punti divisi per 4 giocatori non sono pochi ma il valore di quei 4 giocatori, soprattutto di Breesus e del capitano Willis è sotto gli occhi di tutti. Sono loro due ad aver fatto la differenza anche se devo dire che Harper ha fatto una partita grandiosa

No assolutamente, anzi mi pare adeguato. Ormai da tempo 'Kamikazen e Gamblers si possono definire "gemellati". Io e Gomma abbiamo un grande rispetto l'un l'altro e anche con joeflacco c'è un buonissimo rapporto e soprattutto un fitto scambio di opinioni sulle varie vicende sportive. Ergo amicizia più assoluta fra le nostre squadre.

La scorsa settimana aveva affermato che i Drunkamikazen non si sarebbero più mossi nel mercato FA, poi domenica l'acquisizione di Peyton Hillis, cos'è successo?
E' successo che semplicemente abbiamo cambiato idea. Volevamo avere un RB un po più solido e così abbiamo deciso di puntare su Peyton. Sicuramente è una scommessa ma i segnali fino ad ora sono confortanti speriamo possa confermarsi ancora.

Sempre in tema di RB, Hightower sorpresa di queste due prime giornate.
Beh proprio sorpresa sorpresa no, sicuramente però sta producendo oltre le aspettative. Diciamo che Hightower sta facendo il DeAngelo Williams e il DeAngelo Williams sta facendo l'Hightower. In ogni caso speriamo che le cose possano migliorare soprattutto in casa Panthers, Clausen partente ci fa ben sperare sia per Williams stesso sia soprattutto per LaFell.

Prossima giornata si torna in casa contro i Falcons di Avellino.
Sarà anche questa una partita tosta. Nonostante il record negativo di inizio stagione i Falcons rimangono una squadra molto molto solida. Insomma li temiamo molto anche perchè Step da sempre è garanzia di grandi squadre. Speriamo di avere ancora fortuna, ce ne servirà.

Dando un'occhiata alla schedule, ci pare che i 'kamikazen quest'anno ce l'avranno dura a riconfermarsi campioni della NFC West: Step, Brandon, Spud, Vikings, lo zio, joeflacco, ancora brandon, Pellerossa, e infine ancora Vikings e Gomma. Non certo una "passeggiata de salute"
No assolutamente. Quest'anno abbiamo una schedule durissima soprattutto perchè tutti i nostri rivali divisionali chi più chi meno si sono rafforzati molto in particolar modo in attacco. Per questo sono contento del risultato positivo delle prime due giornate. A parte la prima giornata giocata contro la squadra materasso di Verona (ride ndr) non vedo partite facili. Sappiamo che ci sono squadre anche molto più forti della nostra ma il fantasy football un po come lo sport reale è imprevedibile e fatto di situazioni, ergo non partiamo sconfitti contro nessuno, cercheremo di vendere il più cara possibile la nostra pelle di martiri di Allah

Vittoria di misura ma pur sempre vittoria, maturata soprattutto grazie alle buonissime prestazioni di Drew Brees (29.4), Roy Williams (14.8 ), Bradie James (13.8 ), Roman Harper (11) e in misura minore di Peyton Hillis (9). Vittoria molto importante contro uno storico rivale di divisione e un diretto concorrente per la vittoria della division.
Per celebrare questo importante evento per la franchigia Jihadista e per fare il punto della situazione allo scoccare della metà della regular season 2010 abbiamo raggiunto in una località segreta alla periferia di Groznij in Cecenia il direttore generale per il settore sportivo 49er.

Buona giornata 49er, la troviamo a Groznij in un momento non certo facile. E' notizia dell'altro giorno l'assalto al parlamento ceceno da parte dei ribelli.

Decisiva no, siamo solo a metà stagione e dobbiamo fare ancora molto, ma importante sicuramente sì. Eravamo dati per sconfitti quasi sicuri alla vigilia e i favoriti erano loro, questo basta a spiegare la portata dell'evento.

Ma nonostante l'etichetta di "sfavoriti" alla vigilia a noi pare che il controllo della gara è sempre stato nelle vostre mani da Domenica sera a Martedì mattina.
Questo è vero solo in parte. E' vero che siamo stati sempre avanti e anzi sul finire del secondo tempo delle partite delle 22:00 avevamo un margine di vantaggio di poco più di 40 punti. Ma è anche vero che abbiamo rischiato molto e quei 40 punti si sono dimezzati grazie all'ottima prestazione di LaDainian Tomlinson (19 punti ndr). Insomma è stata una partita molto altalenante. Probabilmente decisivo in nostro favore è stato l'infortunio di Vince Young che non ha permesso a Britt di fare molti altri punti.

Insomma un'altra vittoria sul filo di lana e un'altra vittoria che poteva trasformarsi in una sconfitta se l'avversario avesse schierato Braylon Edwards (10.5) al posto di Randy Moss (5.5). I dati parlano chiaro tutte e 5 le vittorie dei kamikazen finora sono in gergo dei "woulda lost", questo non la preoccupa?
Premesso che i "woulda lost" non sono un nostro problema ma un problema degli altri owner che evidentemente non hanno schierato la migliore formazione, il dato certo che mi preoccupa. Mi preoccupa perchè mi fa capire quanto le nostre vittorie siano frutto del caso, della fortuna e dell'imperizia degli avversari, tutte cose fuori dal nostro controllo e che quindi non possono far altro che farci preccupare. E' da Giugno che lo dico: non esistono più, purtroppo e per fortuna, squadre "materasso", ognuno quest'anno può dire la sua, non ci sono quasi più squadre totalmente dominanti come gli anni passati, basta vedere il record di grandi squadre come i Sun Devils o i Mean Machine. Daltro canto però le posso ribaltare il discorso dicendole che se avessimo giocato in week 5 la partita divisionale contro i Knights avremmo vinto ugualmente e in maniera ancora più abbondante. Quindo ok preccuparsi degli altri ma anche essere consapevoli della propria forza è un elemento fondamentale.

Dando infatti un'occhiata indietro potete ritenervi soddisfatti finora. Nelle ultime quattro partite ne avete persa solo una.
Sì non ci possiamo proprio lamentare. Abbiamo sconfitto squadre importanti come i Falcons di Avellino e battuto entrambi i rivali divisionali. Tutto sommato ci è andata bene anche perchè ora dobbiamo affrontare altre squadre davvero temibili come i Saints e i Bulldogs senza ovviamente dimenticare il ritorno degli scontri divisionali. Quello che voglio dire è che siamo a metà strada, ma lo siamo con un discreto credito, sarà importantissimo non sciupare questo credito nella seconda metà della stagione se vogliamo ancora una volta arrivare ai Playoff.

Riguardo l'organizzazione della franchigia nelle ultime settimane avete avuto due importanti "acquisti" ThePatrior e il maria...
Sì è esatto. Dopo settimane di trattative siamo riusciti a ingaggiarli entrambi. E' stata una mossa molto importante per tutta la nostra organizzazione, sappiamo che grazie a loro estenderemo a tutto l'occidente il verbo jihadista, anti-imperialista e anti-istreliano. consiglierei ai vari piersilvi di comprarsi uno shuttle, a breve sulla terra per gente come loro non ci sarà più spazio

Tornando in ambito sportivo domenica altra prova ardua per i kamikazen
Sicuramente. Troveremo di fronte uno zio aggurritissimo con fame di vittoria per una division quest'anno davvero apertissima. Speriamo in bene, confidiamo nel grande Allah.

Las Vegas - Dopo ben sette anni di frenetica attività i proprietari degli ormai ex Drunkamikazen Friuli hanno deciso giovedì notte di vendere la franchigia. Un cambiamento societario che era nell'aria già da tempo: la situazione economica e politica non permetteva più al socio di maggioranza Abdul Ali Mohamed Hassan El Kartoumi e ai suoi collaboratori di poter garantire la stessa stabilità di cui la squadra ha potuto godere in questi anni.
Ecco dunque la decisione, certamente sofferta, di vendere. I possibili acquirenti non sono mancati, numerose infatti le offerte giunte in Liechstein nella sede della multinazionale del terrore del dottor El Kartoumi. Si è parlato per settimane di un interessamento di varie cordate asiatiche (indonesiane e thailandesi) e addirittura di un'inserimento nella trattativa degli Emiri del Brunei e di Adria. Tutte trattative finite però con una fumata nera.
A spuntarla (ed è la notizia sicuramente più clamorosa) è stata la divisione marketing del famigerato "Hells Angels Motorcycle Club" di Fontana, California.
Per farci raccontare tutti i retroscena della vicenda abbiamo intervistato il CEO dei vecchi Drunkamikazen 49er (confermato nel suo ruolo dai nuovi proprietari), a lato del "match of the century" fra Floyd Mayweather e Manny Paquiao svoltosi sabato notte all'MGM Arena di Las Vegas.

Signor 49er sono giorni molto caldi per la franchigia per cui lavora.
Certamente nei giorni scorsi abbiamo avuto momenti concitati, un cambio societario non è mai una situazione facile da gestire soprattutto dopo una collaborazione così lunga.

Ci può spiegare come e perché è maturata questa decisione da parte di El Kartoumi?
Le motivazioni che può aver avuto riguardano solo lui, non voglio e non mi permetto di entrare nel merito perché non è il mio compito. A riguardo le posso assicurare però che non c'è stato nessun tipo di disamore verso la squadra e i risultati degli ultimi anni da parte del nostro vecchio proprietario, ci tengo a precisarlo. Anzi mi permetta di ringraziare El Kartoumi per la vicinanza, l'affetto nonché ovviamente per il persistente sforzo economico profuso durante gli anni. Il suo arrivo in Friuli è stata la vera svolta per questa società, le ha permesso di raggiungere obbiettivi prima impensabili. Sono stati anni indimenticabili.

A riguardo, una piccola sintesi: tre titoli divisionali, quattro partecipazioni ai Playoff, cinquanta vittorie esatte in sette anni. Un discreto bottino.
Buono direi. Sicuramente quei numeri descrivono bene il lavoro svolto durante tutti questi anni.

Peccato solo per il titolo di Conference sfuggito per un soffio nel 2010.
E' lo sport, è la vita.

Oltre le vittorie ci sono stati dei momenti non certo facilissimi, soprattutto negli ultimi anni. L'ultima stagione vincente per i Drunkamikazen risale al 2011, un po' lontana nel tempo, non crede?
Senza ombra di dubbio le stagioni 2012 e 2013 sono state molto difficili. Daltronde in quegli anni abbiamo perso giocatori importanti. Purtroppo per ricostruire ci vuole tempo ma sono convinto che abbiamo imboccato la strada giusta. Nonostante il dato dei numeri ritengo il 2014 un anno sicuramente positivo: il 6-6 non rende giustizia al lavoro svolto. Almeno tre delle sei sconfitte sono arrivate per distacchi minimali di punti se non addirittura di decimali. E' tutto ciò è stato dimostrato durante i Playoff, dove ci siamo comportati bene.

La HAMC ha vinto la corsa per la maggioranza delle azioni, un commento?
Sono sicuramente contento. Ho avuto modo di conoscere i loro dirigenti e mi sono sembrate persone concrete, serie e con una gran voglia di continuare sul percorso tracciato.

Infatti oltre a lei sono stati confermati tutti i suoi collaboratori.
Sì, i nuovi proprietari come le ho detto hanno posto come priorità la continuità a livello dirigenziale e io sono stato ben lieto di poter continuare qui il mio lavoro.

Eppure si era parlato di nomi importanti che avrebbero potuto sostituirla: Alessio Secco, Marco Branca, Matt Millen.
A quanto mi risulta quei nomi erano usciti durante le trattative con le cordate asiatiche, gli Hells Angels hanno sempre ribadito di volermi confermare e così hanno fatto. Anzi le posso dire che il dottor El Kartoumi ha dato loro una corsia preferenziale anche per questo. Era importante per lui mantenere la continuità cosa che, ripeto, i nuovi proprietari fin da subito hanno condiviso e continuano a condividere.

La gestione Drunkamikazen aveva un segno idelogico molto forte. Gli stessi Hells Angels ideologicamente non sono propriamente neutri.
Di questo non mi occupo e non mi sono mai occupato, a me interessa solo il lato sportivo della franchigia.

Ancora due annotazioni sul cambiamento societario. La prima: perché il nome "Angels of Death" e non il classico "Hells Angels"? La seconda: lo spostamento di denominazione del luogo, da Friuli a Udine.
Riguardo il nome sono intervenuti motivi di carattere commerciale e di marketing. I proprietari volevano creare qualcosa di nuovo e di non ancora visto nel panorama sportivo ma che al tempo stesso fosse anche una specie di cordone ombelicale verso la loro storia.
Riguardo la denominazione del luogo non credo ci sia tutta questa differenza. Rimaniamo legati al Friuli, è la nostra terra. L'unica motivazione è stata il presentarsi all'interno della lega di un'altra squadra della nostra regione, volevamo marcare maggiormente la nostra provenienza. Siamo e rimaniamo la squadra di tutta la nostra gente.

Il cambio societario non è stata la sola notizia shock per voi in questo inizio di offseason. Patrick Willis il vostro capitano per sei anni ha deciso di ritirarsi.
E' stata una notizia triste per noi senza ombra di dubbio. Patrick era il simbolo di questa franchigia, ha contribuito sempre in maniera decisiva alla nostra causa. Ovviamente la sua è stata una decisione sofferta che rispettiamo, un atleta deve giustamente pensare al suo futuro e alla sua salute prima che allo sport.
Ci tengo a sottolineare che l'ultimo atto dei Drunkamikazen e il primo degli Angels of Death è stato proprio l'inserimento di Patrick nella Hall of Fame della squadra. E' stato un gesto magnifico nei suoi confronti, un'attestazione di affetto e un riconoscimento che raramente si possono vedere.
Ma oltre questo è stato anche un segnale dato agli altri giocatori: a parte il nome e i proprietari nulla è cambiato, siamo sempre gli stessi e abbiamo sempre gli stessi obbiettivi.

In conclusione ci può aggiornare sulle vostre strategie per questa offseason. Cosa farete al Draft e in Free Agency?
Le posso solo dire che abbiamo da molto tempo le idee chiare su cosa faremo e su come ci muoveremo, bisogna solo aspettare.
