In sostanza con una partita ci siamo giocati 2/3 della stagione.
Il morale sarà a terra dopo il dramma di Everett e i gli altri gravi infortuni (Simposon e Webster out for season) senza poi contare la delusione per la sconfitta (meritata) arrivata all'ultimo minuto.
Ora la difesa è sotto organico in modo pauroso (voci dicono che andremo sul mercato per prendere un End e un LB) mentre l'attacco non da nessuna garanzia.
La vedo dura ma abbiamo superato momenti anche più difficili....forza e coraggio..... 

io credo che il bruttissimo infortunio darà una spinta morale, emozionale, una motivazione in più allla squadra....non credi?

poi carenze tecniche e di organico sono un altro paio di maniche, quello è ovvio

Però sai.. cogli infortuni che ci sono stati e con un talento limitato della squadra non è che possono fare tante cose buone.
Bisogna aspettare. Certo è che per quest'anno di trionfi ne vedremo pochi.

Bravo Davide: sarà dura adesso giocare contro i Bills. Questo è uno sport dove la coesione è fondamentale, e adesso i Bills ne avranno da vendere.

A volte da un dramma può venir fuori quella spinta per andare oltre i propri limiti fisici e tecnici ma a volte no.
Ci si deprime ed incupisce, si entra in campo timorosi e si sbaglia.
Credo che sia una reazione molto soggettiva.
Il coaching staff cavalcherà certamente questo lato emozionale della vicenda ma per i giovani (ed i Bills ne sono pieni) sarà più dura (inoltre Everett era uno di loro).
Cmq speriamo bene sopratutto per Everett. Alla fine è un ragazzo di 24 anni che rischia di non poter camminare. Le notizie sembrano incoraggianti ma sono lesioni molto delicate, difficile fare valutazioni a lungo periodo. Di certo c'è solo che la sua carriara come atleta finisce qui.
Lo sport a volte sa essere molto crudele.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Rookie Bills linebacker Paul Posluszny's season is over, and quarterback Craig Nall is back with the team after signing a one-year contract on Monday, three weeks after Buffalo cut him.

Posluszny became the sixth Bills player - and third defensive starter - placed on the injured reserve list this season after the rookie second-round draft pick broke his left forearm in the second quarter of a 38-7 loss at New England on Sunday.

Posluszny, who had surgery Monday, was hurt when he was making a tackle and got his arm caught underneath Patriots running back Laurence Maroney. A two-time college defensive player of the year at Penn State, Posluszny had a team-leading 23 tackles in Buffalo's first two games.

The Bills linebacking corps is already depleted with starter Keith Ellison (high ankle sprain) expected to miss the next two games and Coy Wire (sprained knee) out indefinitely.

Nall's signing comes a day after starter J.P. Losman sprained his left knee in the first series against New England. NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting that Losman will be out for two weeks with a sprained left MCL. Buffalo needed a veteran to back up rookie third-round draft pick Trent Edwards, who is expected to make his first NFL start Sunday, when the Bills host the New York Jets.

Nall is familiar with the Bills offense after he spent last season and all of training camp this summer with the team.

He's a five-year NFL veteran, who spent his first four seasons as a backup in Green Bay. The Bills signed him in spring 2006, believing he could challenge Losman for the starting job.

Nall's chances were sidetracked by a hamstring injury, and he spent last season as the team's third-stringer. Nall then lost the backup job to Edwards this past training camp.

He's appeared in only six games, all as a backup, and gone 23-of-33 for 314 yards passing and four touchdowns.

Nall's agent, Robb Nelson, said his client had workouts with several teams in the past three weeks, but was happy to return to Buffalo.

"It's a situation that he knows and he's obviously not holding a grudge," Nelson said.

Al povero Losman non ne va bene mezza, alle prime tre settimane ha avuto il calendario più brutto che si può (Denver, Pittsburgh e New England), ora che iniziavano gli avversari abbordabili s'è rotto. Poi se Edwards gioca bene rischia pure di perdere il posto, tutto questo nell'anno in cui in teoria si doveva capire il suo vero valore...

Beh ma fino al terzo anno si tenta di dare una chance ai giovani quarterbacks. E l'anno scorso le poche volte che l'ho visto non mi era sembrato per niente male, non uno che vince le partite da solo, ma considerando il materiale a disposizione (Evans, punto) non era neanche da buttare.
