The Indianapolis Star is reporting that the Pacers have agreed in principal to send Jermaine O'Neal to the Raptors for point guard T.J. Ford, center Rasho Nesterovic, an unnamed player and the No. 17 pick in Thursday's draft.
The deal is still hinging on physicals, which could be a big deal for oft-injured players like O'Neal and Ford. The Pacers will start Ford at point guard, will probably use Nesterovic at center, and now have the No. 11 and 17 picks in the draft. O'Neal will start at center for the Raptors (as long as his knee will allow), giving them a front line of O'Neal, Chris Bosh and Jamario Moon, as Jose Calderon will take over the point guard job in Toronto.
