In getting their roster down to 53 players by Saturday afternoon's deadline, the Dolphins officially admitted they goofed on almost half of their 2009 draft.
And three undrafted 2010 rookies made the roster -- for now.
Among the players waived were quarterback Pat White, a second-round pick in 2009; wide receiver Patrick Turner, a third-round pick in '09; offensive tackle Andrew Gardner, a sixth-round pick in '09; and linebacker J.D. Folsom, a seventh-rounder in '09.
That is four of the nine players drafted in 2009. None are big surprises based on performance -- or lack thereof.
But rarely does an NFL team cut a No. 44 overall pick and No. 87 overall pick before those players' second season.
non so se sono più scioccato dalla seconda scelta di pat white o dalla terza di turner che non è entrato in campo una volta.
