ESPN reports that the situation between Jay Cutler, his agent, and the Broncos went "from bad to worse" after a conference call Monday.
Cutler's agent is making life uncomfortable for the Broncos, because it's not like Josh McDaniels is talking to every media outlet that will listen. The sides are reportedly "now further apart than prior to (the meeting)." McDaniels reportedly refused to confirm previous trade talks involving Cutler, although owner Pat Bowlen stated to Cutler that he "will not be traded." ESPN says Cutler would now rather be dealt if Denver won't commit to him long term. A trade still seems highly unlikely, even if Cutler wants one. Denver's off-season condition program begins Monday
