all' 8 luglio manco uno ?!
Cazzo, è un record... ma quanti pick avevate?!
Solo 4 pick.
Questo il post su un forum di un tifoso di Tampa...il solito menagramo del caxxo!
11 Reasons The Saints Will Win The NFC South1) The obvious reason - the Saints have the best QB in the division by a hilariously wide margin. Brees hasn't missed a game since coming to New Orleans (in fact, he's only missed one game in the last 5 seasons, and that was in 2004). He's a mortal lock to throw for well over 4,000 yards and 25 TDs. He's also very hard to sack. We're witnessing a Hall of Fame career unfolding here.
2) Pierre Thomas. This kid is amazing. How amazing? He's averaged 4.8 YPC in his two seasons and scored 14 TDs on just 229 touches. With Deuce no longer on the loose, a commitment to Thomas means the Saints run game will be as good as the passing game. If they make him the feature back (to the tune of 20 touches a game), you're looking at a guy who could be considered one of the best backs in football this time next year.
3) Gregg Williams. He's not a superstar coordinator, but he is a very good one who has enjoyed success wherever he's gone. His rigid, gap control defense is exactly what a Saints defense that has lacked discipline needs. The Saints did the smart thing and hired a true professional to make their defense competitive.
4) Sed Ellis is a monster who could quite possibly end up with double-digit sacks from the tackle position next year. His push in the pocket will make life much easier for underachieving Will Smith and Charles Grant. It's still not a dominant defensive line (considering that's 3 #1 picks we're talking about), but quarterbacks won't have all day in the pocket anymore.
5) Jonathan Vilma is back and totally healthy, giving the Saints a playmaking middle linebacker, a leader, and making the entire run defense better.
6) The rebuilt secondary, featuring Darren Sharper and Malcolm Jenkins, looks better on paper. If the defensive line can do their job and the players buy into Gregg Williams's system, it should yield some results.
7) The offensive line is very good. Brown is a stud and on Goodwin was very good replacing Jeff Faine last year. Former Husker Carl Nicks looks to be a rising star. The guards are athletic and there's good depth. Drew Brees should have time, and the runners should have room.
8 ) I haven't even mentioned Reggie Bush yet. Disappointing? Sure. But with Thomas doing the heavy lifting on the ground, Reggie will still be good for 7 catches a game out of the backfield and some odd carries, and he could be a force in the return game, too. More Dave Meggett than Barry Sanders, but still dangerous.
9) The receiving group is, as always, excellent. Marques Colston is a given if healthy, with Lance Moore, Devery Henderson, and former first rounder Robert Meachem in the mix. Jeremy Shockey - not all that long ago whispered about as the next great NFL tight end - is at a career crossroads and will be looking to make a statement. The Saints will have no trouble spreading the field and giving Brees plenty of options.
10) Sean Payton, while he's been unable to build on his early success, now has a very good DC handling that side of the ball, a very good feature back to keep defenses honest, and his entire starting offense back for another year (excluding McAllister). In other words, he can do his mad-scientist thing more than ever.
11) Jake Delhomme returns as the starting quarterback of the Panthers, a team that has never been able to build on it's success. Expectations are higher in Atlanta, which has never had back-to-back winning seasons in it's history. Our Buccaneers are playing for 2010. It shouldn't be easy, but the opportunity will be there for these Saints.
