INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- The Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday signed quarterback John Navarre and linebacker Mike Labinjo, both little-used backups the past three years.Navarre, who played at Michigan, appeared in two games with the Arizona Cardinals, completing 32 of 64 pass attempts with two touchdowns and five interceptions. He started the only game he played in 2004, when the Cardinals benched Josh McCown in favor of Shaun King for two games and then Navarre for one game before going back to McCown.
entra grossman:SLAM!"stavate parlando di meee"?
June a Tampa, chi lo sostituisce?...prendiamo quello che avanza al draft?...vedremo..intanto
Here are Indianapolis’ remaining unrestricted free agents: safety Mike Doss (has visited Tampa), defensive tackle Dan Klecko, wide receiver Aaron Moorehead, running back James Mungro (missed the 2006 season with a knee injury), wide receiver Ricky Proehl (expected to retire), and wide receiver/kick returner Terrence Wilkins. At this point, the best bets to be re-signed by the Colts are Moorehead, Mungro and Wilkins. While Klecko gave the team a lift on both sides of the ball, seeing action as a backup on the defensive line and as a short-yardage fullback on offense, keeping him around may be a luxury that the team ultimately can’t afford. Doss could be considered expendable with the emergence of 2006 rookie Antoine Bethea, although the team has only three returning safeties on the offseason roster (Bethea, Bob Sanders and Matt Giordano) if the former Ohio State defensive back were to leave.
