Appena letta su un forum di fan dei saints...meravigliosa!

Dopo una lunga vita meravigliosa, piena di soddisfazioni e gioie, Peyton Manning passa a miglior vita.
Va in paradiso e lo portano a colloquio con Dio.
Dopo i convenevoli vari, Dio lo porta davanti ad una casetta carina, piccolina con la bandiera dei Colts in giardino e gli dice:
D:"Payton, come premio per la tua retta vita, questa casa sarà tua per l'eternità! E' un dono molto speciale perchè non tutti hanno questa fortuna qui"
M:"Grazie davvero, sono commosso"
Poi guarda bene e vede che accanto c'è una villa enorme, con un giardino principesco, fontane, laghetto, colorata nero e oro e con un enorme logo dei Saints e le tendine delle finestre col giglio dei Saints.
Allora si gira verso Dio e dice:
M:"Dio, non vorrei sembrare ingrato, ma io sono Manning, all-pro QB, ho fatto ogni tipo di record e sono nella Hall of Fame!"
D:"E quindi Peyton? Non capisco dove vuoi arrivare..."
M:"Beh, non capisco perchè Drew Brees deve avere una casa molto migliore della mia!"
D:"Peyton, quella non è la casa di Drew...è la mia!!!"

Saints coach Sean Payton said Monday injured CB Tracy Porter, who sustained a left knee injury in Sunday’s 28-23 win over the Rams, has a sprained medial collateral ligament. There is no timetable on Porter’s return, according to Payton, but he is expected back this season.

“I’m excited for Tracy, because it’s not finite,” Payton said. “Obviously we were all concerned. But we’ll see where we’re at.”

Saints head coach Sean Payton said that cornerback Tracy Porter does not have a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will not need surgery, despite some reports to the contrary.
 
Payton said there is no question they expect Porter back in the lineup this season, though a timetable is not set.
 
“I feel real good for him,” said Payton.
 
“It’s a strained MCL and there will be a time where he’ll have to rehab and recover.”
 
Porter was injured when he was accidentally leg-whipped by Usama Young during a pass play.

Vedendo le reazioni dei fans sui vari forum alla bella notizia ci si rende conto di quanto Porter, al suo primo anno (l'anno scorso in IR) sia già uno degli idoli della squadra.

The Saints are fifth in rushing and fourth and passing. They also rank No. 21 in total defense (20th against the run and 19th against the pass).

Atlanta’s offense is No. 14 overall (ninth in rushing and tied for No. 17 in passing). The Falcons rank No. 25 in total defense (No. 26 against the run and No. 28 against the pass).

Carolina is No. 21 in total offense (No. 3 in rushing and No. 25 in passing). Defensively, the Panthers are No. 11 overall (25th against the run and No. 4 against the pass).

Tampa Bay is No. 28 in total offense (26th in rushing and 23rd in passing). Tampa Bay’s defense is No. 29 (30th against the run and No. 14 against the pass.

Qui si capisce quanto abbiamo scelto bene l'anno scorso al draft.
Finchè c'era Ellis eravamo la 5° difesa, appena è uscito per infortunio siamo arrivati in 3 settimane  al 21°...per fortuna Ellis non dovrebbe mancare ancora a lungo.

Su Porter: addirittura alcuni analisti sostengono che potrebbe tornare in 4-6 settimane!!!

Sharper secondo me è stato volutamente tenuto fuori in vista di una partita che doveva essere "facile".
Non mi sorprenderebbe vederlo fuori anche la prossima per poi rientrare contro i Pats...

Sharper secondo me è stato volutamente tenuto fuori in vista di una partita che doveva essere "facile".
Non mi sorprenderebbe vederlo fuori anche la prossima per poi rientrare contro i Pats...

Oltre che per i Pats , Darren è fondamentale per la post season....hanno fatto bene a non "rischiarlo" contro i Rams
