Belichick wants cameras on goal line
Last week's controversial replay reversal in the Steelers-Ravens game - in which Pittsburgh receiver Santonio Holmes was awarded a winning touchdown on which he had two feet in the end zone but it was difficult to determine if any part of the ball had broken the plane - is the latest example to support a change for instant replay Patriots coach Bill Belichick has suggested: cameras on the goal line. Because the most important plays often take place at the goal line, Belichick has pitched the possibility of having permanent cameras at that spot on the field, similar to the baseline in tennis. The idea hasn't gained support, however, mainly because of the financial investment it would require.
