ho letto anche che sui 4o metri CJ ha un record spaventoso di 4,2 secondi (o 4,4 ,non ricordo bene)..

nel cazzeggio di quell'articolo,c'era scritto che sui cento metri non ci sarebbe storia a favore di bolt,ma su una distanza più breve CJ se la potrebbe giocare

vorrei far notare che CJ quei tempi li fa dovendo portarsi dietro una carrozzerria un pelo più robusta

bolt se viene placato da un LB medio della NFL lo trovano tre mesi dopo in ortopedia che lo riavvitano

non paragoniamo le prestazioni di uno che gioca 16 partite all'anno e prende circa 150 tackle terminali con uno che al massimo deve correre con la pioggia....

l'articolo parlava di velocità pura,non di tutte le altre variabili.

Il tempo di CJ sulle 40yds è di 4.24s.
Se non sbaglio, questo è il record al draft da quando viene misurato il tempo con il sistema elettronico.

Per quello che riguarda la sfida, sarebbe sicuramente interessante.
La progressione di Bolt fa paura, ma parte molto tardi sui 100mt... quindi secondo me sulle 40yds CJ vincerebbe senza nessun problema.
Ben più problematico è se si parla di 100 o di 200mt.

Comunque i 4.24 al draft sono migliorabilissimi se calcoli che:
1- al draft si prova 1 volta sola;
2- si corre su erba e con scarpe da football;
3- si parte a 3 punti, mentre nell'atletica si parte a 4;
mettete CJ su di una pista di atletica con scarpe da sprint e vedrete che tempo che ci tira fuori...

sono molto curioso!

Vista la velocità di Bolt, l'unico che potrebbe placcarlo è una seafty, ma schierata profonda

Agent: Vanden Bosch unlikely to return to Titans

Despite coach Jeff Fisher’s expressed interest in retaining Kyle Vanden Bosch, The Tennessean reports that the Titans haven’t reached out to the unrestricted free-agent DE’s agent, Tony Agnone, who believes his client’s days with the franchise are over.

Agnone also squashed rumors that Vanden Bosch, 31, is considering retirement.

Vanden Bosch is a two-time Pro Bowl pick who has 42.5 career sacks in nine seasons with the Cardinals and Titans. This past season, he recorded three sacks, his lowest otal since he joined the Titans in 2005.

Amano says he has five-year deal with Titans

Veteran guard Eugene Amano told The Tennessean on Monday that he has agreed to a five-year contract to remain with the Titans.

“I am excited,” said Amano, who didn’t reveal financial terms. “Just knowing I get to be a Titan for the next five years and hopefully win a championship. It is also exciting to know my hard work has paid off and my coaches have confidence in me.”

Amano was scheduled to become a free agent, but now he’s signed in Tennessee through 2014. He joined the franchise in 2004 as a seventh-round draft pick and became a full-time starter in 2008.

Amano said he wasn’t sure what position he’d play next season because “I guess that depends on what happens with Kevin.”

That “Kevin” is Pro Bowl center Kevin Mawae, who also will be a free agent. Mawae’s agent told The Tennessean earlier in the day that he hoped to hear back from the team this week about a contract.

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reported Friday that re-signing Amano and Mawae were an offseason priority for the Titans, according to a league source. Both linemen helped Titans RB Chris Johnson crack the 2,000-yard barrier this past season.
