ma per me ormai tutti i RB veterani sono un rischio

la politica dei colts è spietata ma alla fine giusta: draft, gli si tira nel collo finchè durano e poi via, nel frattempo si pescano i ricambi sempre al draft  si può contestare (vedi le scelte di far partire Faulk e James) ma è una via che ti permette di risparmiare soldi e avere sempre giocatori freschi e giovani, anche se il rischio è di perdere qualità se sbagli le scelte

Acee predicted the move a week ago, so it wasn't a surprise. Williams, turning 34 this offseason, was due a $1M roster bonus on top of a $5M salary in the final year of his contract. He'll be a health risk on the free agent market after missing most of the 2009 season with a torn triceps. With Darren Sproles now in his pocket, GM A.J. Smith can target a nose tackle in the first round.

il need primario era rimpiazzare LT..e al primo giro si è andati su un buon RB..poi abastanza mediocre..

secondo me questa era la squadra che aveva meno problemi....certo un cb sarebbe stato utile con la partenza di cromartie....

Chargers coach Norv Turner estimates that Ryan Mathews will have 250 carries and 40 catches this season.
It's rare that we get a coach to give a fantasy-type prediction, but there you have it. Turner noted that he won't have to lean on Mathews as much as he did LaDainian Tomlinson when LT was a rookie (Turner was Chargers offensive coordinator under Mike Riley that year), but we can be certain that Mathews is going to get all the early-down work. The Chargers will also run the ball on early downs more now that they have someone capable. If Mathews gets nearly 300 touches as Turner predicts, he won't have trouble finishing as a top-15 fantasy back in San Diego's high-scoring offense.
