Jets could bring back RB Jones; Chiefs interested

Thomas Jones is drawing interest from the Chiefs, as well as the Jets, according to a league source. After announcing his release Monday, the Jets now appear to be interested in bringing back their leading rusher for a lesser price tag.

Mi sembra un po' una boutade... va bene che ci serve un HB da affiancare a Charles, ma addirittura Jones...  :idolo:

Re-signed RB Jackie Battle.

Andati Boldin e Burleson... Owens ormai verso i Bengals... e noi abbiamo 3 posti liberi tra i WR....  :suicide2: :suicide2: :suicide2:

Boldin era da prendere a tutti i costi... non ci sono santi che tengano...

According to a league source, the Kansas City Chiefs are showing “serious” interest in free agent Shaun Smith, the 28 year old defensive tackle most recently of the Bengals.

Dopo l'annuncio arrivano le prime parole del coach:

"He's an impressive guy. We can't have enough guys like Thomas," Todd Haley said, according to Jim Corbett of USA Today. "It's one thing to be a leader and another to have the ability to back it up. Thomas does that and is excited to continue to show that."

"I'm excited he wants to be here," Haley said. "If we have a chance to add good football players, we're going to do it," Haley said. "This was a great example of a good fit, no different than what we've been able to do coaching staff wise. We need to because we only won four games last year and we've got to be better this year."
